About
During the process of forging steel, the raw materials undergo intense heat and pressure to evolve into something entirely new. This process serves as a metaphor for the contemporary world, where our ever-advancing technology and innovations continuously reshape our connection to nature and tradition.
Drawing inspiration from the rich textures, patterns, and structures of both modern design and rustic, natural environments, I create pieces that invite viewers to contemplate the convergence of old and new, and the coexistence of contrasting aesthetics. These works challenge our perceptions and encourage a dialogue about the evolving relationship between the organic and the mechanical, as well as the contemporary and the rustic in our ever-changing world.
Through the medium of forged steel, my art celebrates the blending of modernity and tradition, forging a deeper appreciation for the intricate and timeless connection between the natural and the man-made, the contemporary and the rustic.
